The exhibition will cover a wide spectrum of textile technologies, from weaving to knitting, yarn to digital printing, and finishing to denim. Attendees will have the chance to explore innovative, eco-friendly technologies that are paving the way for a sustainable future. Company owners and managers will benefit from expert insights into the latest machinery and technologies, enabling them to enhance their products and make informed investment decisions.

One of the highlights of ITM 2024 will be the ‘Denim Technologies Special Section.’ Introduced at ITM 2022, this section received overwhelming interest from exhibitors and visitors alike. Due to its success, it has been relocated to Hall 11A to accommodate the growing number of machinery and chemical manufacturers specializing in denim production processes such as washing, bleaching, dyeing, cutting, and finishing. This dedicated section will spotlight sustainable innovations and cutting-edge technologies in the denim sector, guiding buyers and brands in their pursuit of reliable and sustainable products.

ITM 2024 will also be a showcase for the latest advancements in textile machinery and technology, including artificial intelligence-supported machines, innovative software, and design marvels. The exhibition will emphasize sustainability, digitalization, and innovation, reflecting the industry’s ongoing transformation. Visitors will discover machines and equipment designed to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact.

The event will highlight the integration of artificial intelligence and automation in textile manufacturing. These technologies, which have gained prominence in recent years, will be a focal point at ITM 2024. Attendees can expect to see machines that incorporate AI and automation to improve production processes, optimize resource use, and enhance overall efficiency. Additionally, solutions aimed at energy efficiency, waste reduction, and the use of recyclable materials will be prominently featured.

Global investors and delegations from key textile-producing countries such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, India, and Egypt are expected to attend ITM 2024. These investors will be keen to explore the latest technologies and make strategic investment decisions, further driving the growth of the textile machinery sector both globally and within Turkey.

Marco Salvade, President, ACIMIT

ACIMIT president Marco Salvade remarked, “Italy’s textile machinery sector boasts a strong partnership tradition with Turkish textile manufacturers. From 2011 to 2023, the local textile industry invested roughly US$ 80 billion in new technologies, where more often than not these investments regarded the acquisition of Italian machinery,” He noted that Italy remains one of the primary technology suppliers to Turkish textile manufacturers, alongside Germany and China.

“We want to strengthen this leadership position on the Turkish market,” added Salvadė, “thanks in part to the latest technological developments being put forward by Italian machinery manufacturers, above all in the digitalization of production processes, thereby enhancing efficiency and optimization. I’m quite sure that visitors at ITM will be able to find at the booths of our exhibitors the most suitable solutions to raise the level of competitiveness of Turkish textiles.”

Kurt Lamkowski, Manager Worldwide Sales, Picanol

“With our strong presence at this exhibition, we once again want to make a clear statement on the importance of the Turkish market for Picanol and reconfirm our commitment to it. That said, we also hope to welcome customers and potential partners from other countries. Our team is looking forward to explaining to those visiting our booth about how our innovations will ensure we continue to grow together with the global textile industry and our customers in particular,” explains Kurt Lamkowski, Manager Worldwide Sales at Picanol.

Arno Gärtner, CEO, KARL MAYER GROUP

Arno Gärtner, CEO of the KARL MAYER GROUP, states “In response to the economic challenges in the Turkish textile industry, we are intensifying our commitment to our local customers. We have founded a subsidiary in Bursa to provide even better support for our services. Our proximity to the market also helps us to optimise our production solutions to meet the needs of our customers. Our focus remains on providing advanced, efficient, high-performance machines that use digital solutions to increase productivity and reduce operating costs. We are here at ITM to assist our customers through the current difficult times and help them emerge stronger. This is also a personal concern of mine. I have built up close relationships with many customers over the years. Their success is very near and dear to my heart,”

Matteo Mutti, Chief Sales and Service, Itema Group

The Itema Group Chief Sales and Service, Matteo Mutti commented on the Itema participation at ITM “We look forward to ITM as the stage to showcase our latest innovations to the whole Middle Eastern textile industry. We worked on our product line-up to show effective, tangible, smart solutions to weavers since our primary mission is to support our customers in improving their competitiveness and their results.”

ITM 2024 is set to break new records in terms of visitor numbers and business transactions. Thousands of visitors from Europe, Central Asia, and Arab countries, including the Turkic Republics, will flock to the exhibition to stay abreast of the latest trends in textile machinery. The event will serve as a crucial meeting point for industry stakeholders, fostering collaborations and partnerships that will shape the future of the textile industry.

ITM 2024 promises to be an unparalleled event that not only showcases the latest textile technologies but also provides a platform for meaningful business interactions and strategic partnerships. As the industry looks to the future, ITM 2024 will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, sustainability, and growth in the global textile sector.
