Q. WeaveTech Engineers has built a strong reputation in weaving technology. Can you share an overview of the company’s journey and key milestones?
Over three decades, Weavetech has grown to become the largest manufacturer of Yarn Twisting solutions in India with a product portfolio that is one of the largest amongst in competitors across the world. Weavetech has been able to focus on providing specific & highly customized solutions to problems that allow its customers to become most efficient producers in their focused segments.
Q. GTTES 2025 is a key platform for textile technology. What are the latest weaving innovations that WeaveTech Engineers has introduced at this event?
With the global supply chain becoming faster & shorter, our customers need solutions that allow them to reduce lead times & bring as many manufacturing processes in-house as possible without compromising on their costs. Additionally, competitive differentiation has become the only strategy that is sustainable over a long term. In this aspect, Weavetech has created solutions that allow faster lead times & small lot production runs at a very competitive operating cost.
SIZING: Weavetech’s fully-electric sizing with low CapEx & OpEx allows small production runs without investing in huge, centralized Heat / Steam generators.
FANCY YARN: Weavetech’s 7-Axis Fancy Yarn Twister allows thousands of Fancy Yarn combination to be produced on a single machine. By blending Spun, Filament, Natural & Synthetic yarns, a user can create innovating designs that are extremely difficult to replicate.
DYE PACKAGE TFO TWISTERS: Weavetech’s fully-electronic TFO Twisters with EDS (Electronic Drive System) allows direct soft-package production on TFO Twisters itself. This eliminates an entire process of rewinding saving considerable time & manpower resources.
Q. The demand for high-performance weaving solutions is growing. How does WeaveTech’s latest Fancy Yarn Machine cater to the evolving needs of the industry?
High Performance Weaving machines are no more a competitive advantage. Even fabric / pattern designs are easily replicated with the latest Weaving Machines. But if Weavers can create their own Fancy Yarns for use in their own fabrics, then that gives them an advantage that is extremely difficult to replicate by competitors. This is the focus area for Weavetech’s Fancy Yarn Machines – To extend a Weaver’s capability for creation & innovation over the raw materials used in fabrics rather than simply limiting it to Fabric designs in Weaving.
Q. Automation and AI-driven weaving solutions are transforming the textile industry. How is WeaveTech integrating smart technology into its machinery for improved efficiency?
With inhouse capability to design machine controllers, Weavetech has been able to utilize the latest Parallel Processing technologies to ensure robust synchronisation between all its Motors, Drives & Controls. Using IoT technologies, all Weavetech controllers are Wi-Fi & Bluetooth ready to be integrate with users Plant management systems.
Q. Sustainability and energy efficiency are major industry priorities. How do WeaveTech’s latest innovations contribute to eco-friendly and cost-efficient textile production?
Energy saving has been a competitive advantage for Weavetech since inception. All Weavetech customers will vouch for Weavetech’s claim of Energy Efficiency in comparison to its competitors. Recently Weavetech has started switching to ReGenrative Drive systems on its top end models which will slowly be replicated across its complete product line.

The highest number of projects at our R&D center are related to development of import-substitute parts & machineries. It is through this channel that Weavetech continues developing new products & solutions.
