Jaydeep Mondal Named Vice President & Unit Head at Grasim Industries

Grasim Industries Ltd (Aditya Birla Group) has appointed Jaydeep Mondal as Vice President and Unit Head, reinforcing its focus on operational excellence and manufacturing leadership within India’s evolving industrial and specialty chemicals sector.
With more than two decades of experience across chemicals, industrial operations, process engineering, and manufacturing leadership, Jaydeep brings extensive expertise in plant operations, production management, and process optimisation.
Prior to joining Grasim Industries, he held key leadership positions at Coromandel International Limited, where he served as Senior General Manager & Unit Head and played a significant role in enhancing manufacturing efficiency and operational performance.
Throughout his career, Jaydeep has also worked with leading organisations including LANXESS, UPL, Orica, Hindustan Copper Ltd, Welspun World, Intech Organics Limited, and Granton Marketing BV. His professional experience spans chemical processing, liquid purification technologies, industrial manufacturing, and operational strategy.
As India’s manufacturing and chemicals industries continue emphasising sustainability, process innovation, and capacity expansion, Jaydeep’s appointment is expected to further strengthen Grasim Industries’ manufacturing capabilities and long-term growth initiatives.
